Robin Lee

Robin and I met last year at a styled shoot. I immediately fell in love with her work and her spirit! Robin makes chic essential oil jewelry, and she agreed to team with me to serve you all some ornaments! I got to glaze these adorable Christmas trees in different shade of green, and robin added her golden touch!

the magic behind this collaboration happened whenever we would talk for an hour each time we exchanged the ornaments. I feel like it is the forming a beautiful friendship that brought endowed these pieces with love.

Hi! I'm Robin, a dreamer and jewelry designer that loves art, essentials oils, mountain sunsets, and finding a little rainbow moments each day. I design and sculpt golden ceramic diffuser jewelry in my studio in Asheville, NC.

What brought you the idea to make chic essential oils jewelry?

When I was a full time Kindergarten teacher and grad student pursuing an MA in Curriculum Leadership, I began to use essential oils with my artistic abilities as a therapeutic outlet. My favorite art has always been ceramics and I naturally gravitated there. I LOVE functional fashion and noticed a gap in the essential oil diffuser jewelry world; gold embellished ceramic diffuser necklaces! So (after lots of trial and error) I sculpted and designed an elegant diffuser jewelry line for myself and teacher friends to reap the benefits of oils in style.

Where do you draw your inspiration from?

I draw my inspiration from the combined magic of the beautiful outdoors, mother nature, and stories from my incredible customers and community.

What is your biggest advice for someone just starting out and thinking about being a full time creative?

Create from your heart and the love will magnitude. Make note of small joys and wins during the process of your work. Reach out to fellow creatives to support, ask questions, and build each other up--we are in this together!

How do you feel like being a teacher might have helped you in your business journey?

I attribute many of my business building wins to skills acquired during my years as a teacher with an MA in Curriculum Leadership. Teaching young children is incredibly rewarding as well as facing a new adventure each day! Teaching enhanced my ability to get creative in situations, remain flexible, adapt to changes, get organized, and recognize that the sun will always rise and keep faith in a new day.

Any new exciting projects you’re working on for us to look forward to?

I recently released my Joy & Evergreen Holiday Collection that is full of timeless pieces that bring a bit of joy to you this holiday season.
